Since 2008, E.J. Daigle is has represented Dunwoody College of Technology as the Dean of Robotics & Manufacturing. Here he manages a department of 300 plus students, 15 full-time faculty, and 10 adjunct faculty. He was instrumental in developing new Bachelor Degree majors in both Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Prior to taking on his role as Dean, E.J. served as Technical Faculty at Dunwoody for 13 years. Additionally, E.J. spent just over 10 years in the US Navy from 1992-2002 working as a missile technician and fire control repair technician. E.J. has been interviewed and quoted by CBS News, CNN, and countless online sources on the importance of STEM education and jobs in manufacturing, even serving as mentor/coach for two Minnesota high school FIRST Robotics teams where he helps them with robot design, the manual and CNC machining of robot parts, and programming National Instruments components using LabVIEW. In 2011 E.J. was named as a Leader Under 40 by Control Engineering Magazine. E.J. received his Master of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and his BS in Applied Mathematics at Metropolitan State University.
